With an empty weight of 291 kg and a capacity of 1,000 litres of water, the Esmeralda hot tub weighs about 1,290 kg once filled, not counting bathers.
To enjoy your hot tub fully and safely, choose a flat, stable and strong enough surface, ideally a suitable concrete slab.
Would you like to install it on a timber or composite deck, or on a raised structure? That is entirely possible, provided a professional checks its load capacity beforehand.

- Delivery access
Dimensions of the hot tub packed on its pallet: 242 × 228 × 92 cm.
Your hot tub is packed and transported on its side to make handling easier.
Before ordering, check the size of every opening on the way (gate, path, door…) to its final position.

- First heat-up
Fitted with a 3,000 W heater, our Intense and Alu-Teck hot tubs heat up by about 2 °C per hour, and up to 4 °C per hour on the most compact models, depending on the volume of water and the outdoor conditions.
Our tip: always keep the insulated cover closed while heating, to limit heat loss and help your hot tub warm up faster.
- Electricity – how to prepare your hot tub's connection
Our hot tubs are delivered set up for 400 V three-phase, but can also run on 230 V single-phase once a qualified professional has fitted an electrical bridge.
For a single-phase installation, you will need:
- A 3G6 mm² electrical cable.
- A dedicated line with a 32 A circuit breaker and a 30 mA residual current device, depending on the model's specifications.
- A direct connection of the cable into your hot tub's control unit, with no plug in between.
Important: the cable from your electrical panel to your hot tub must be run and connected by a qualified electrician, who will check the cable size and the protections required.
Do you have three-phase power? Your hot tub can keep its original setup, with a suitable connection.

Make the most of your hot tub with quick, simple maintenance!
To keep your water clean and your filtration at its best, rinse your TropicSpa-approved filter once a week and replace it every 3 months. Handy: it is changed without any tools!

The Esmeralda is designed for large families who want space above all, on a controlled budget.
Seven seats: numbers first
The Esmeralda has no lounger: its seven seats, three upright and four semi-reclined, put the number of bathers first. It is the format for large families and evenings with friends, in a 2.16 m square.
Two pumps for the massage
A 1,500 W pump and a 2,000 W pump share the water jets; a 700 W air pump feeds the 20 air jets. 90 jets in total, spread over the seven seats.
Weight and installation
Empty, the Esmeralda weighs 291 kg, and its package measures 2.42 m × 2.28 m: check the route to the site. Filled, allow about 1.3 tonnes before anyone gets in (1,000 litres). Plan for a flat, level slab; our guide Installing a hot tub details the points to check.
Construction and maintenance
Stainless steel frame, rot-proof ABS base, wood-effect PVC cladding. The 370 W filtration pump and the cartridge filters maintain water quality.
Esmeralda or Borneo?
The Borneo also seats seven people, with three loungers and 175 jets, in a larger format (2.30 m × 2.40 m). The Esmeralda remains the most affordable of our 7-seaters. Compare our hot tubs for 7 or more.
