Before you buy

What is the difference between the Plug & Play, Relaxation, Intense and Alu-Turbo versions?

The shell and dimensions are the same; it is the equipment that changes. The Plug & Play version has one massage pump and plugs into a standard socket. Relaxation and Intense have several pumps, many more jets, Bluetooth music and Balboa Wi-Fi control as an option; the Intense adds triple insulation, more complete lighting and horizontal PVC cladding. Alu-Turbo has equipment close to the Intense, often with a few more jets, in maintenance-free aluminium and Alu-Teck composite cladding. Each product page compares the versions and gives their price or the words "on quotation".

How many seats should I choose?

Count the people who will use it every week, plus one seat if you often have guests. Our guide What size hot tub to choose explains the reasoning, with the dimensions, weight and water capacity of our models.

Can I see a hot tub before buying it?

Yes, in two ways. In our showroom in Els Hostalets de Llers (Spain), by appointment: you see our hot tubs full size and feel their finishes. Or by video call: from the showroom, an advisor presents the model live and answers your questions. Our showroom · Book a video tour

Do the prices shown include delivery?

No. Prices include VAT and exclude delivery and options. For delivery, we put you in touch with our official carriers, who make you their offer.

Warranty and after-sales service

What is the warranty?

On Premium range hot tubs (their product page says "20-year warranty on shell and frame"): 20 years on shell and frame, 7 years on the shell surface, 5 years on electronics and plumbing, provided the warranty is registered no later than 30 days after the hot tub is made available. For other models, the warranty is shown on their product page; saunas, steam rooms and whirlpool baths: 2 years. See Our warranties.

Are spare parts available?

Yes: contact us with your hot tub's serial number and the part reference or a photo of the part. Our contact details and what to send us are on the Our warranties page.

Delivery and installation

How does delivery work?

It's simple: we give you the details of our official carriers, and the one you choose makes you an offer and takes care of everything. See Delivery of your hot tub.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes for the standard versions: the hot tub needs a dedicated circuit with residual current protection. The Plug & Play versions plug into a standard socket.

Can a hot tub be installed on a timber deck?

Yes, if the structure can carry the weight of the filled hot tub and its bathers. Have the permissible load checked. See Where to install your hot tub.

Payment

Can I pay in instalments?

Monthly payments through our financing partner are offered to customers living in France, on most models. Wherever you are in Europe, your advisor will go through the payment options with you: request a quote.

How does payment work?

A €1,300 reservation deposit locks in the price of your quote for one year; a second deposit starts the manufacture of your hot tub; the balance is due no later than 90 days after the order is confirmed. Accepted methods: bank transfer (free of charge), banker's cheque (10% surcharge if the balance is paid this way) and bank card (except for the balance). Cryptocurrency payment is also accepted: your advisor will explain how it works. If you pay in full when ordering, you receive a 2.5% discount (excluding hot tubs in stock). Details: articles 3 and 4 of the general terms and conditions of sale.

Use and maintenance

How do I look after the water?

Check the pH (between 7 and 7.4) and the sanitiser every week, rinse the filters, and drain every three to four months. See our maintenance routine.

Can the hot tub be controlled remotely?

Yes, as an option, except on the Plug & Play versions. Our hot tubs come with KL20 electronics as standard; Balboa control with Wi-Fi (€399 on the Samana and the Rio, €499 on the other hot tubs) or Balboa Touch 3 control with Wi-Fi (€799) lets you set the temperature, filtration and lighting from your phone. The equipment of each model and version is detailed on its product page.

Hot tubs

Hot tub or Jacuzzi: what is the difference?

In everyday language, none: people say "Jacuzzi" for a whirlpool hot tub. Jacuzzi is in fact a registered trademark, often used as a common noun; our hot tubs are not of that brand. They work on the same principle: a tub of hot water, massage jets, filtration and heating.

Can a hot tub be installed indoors?

Yes for models described as "indoor or outdoor" on their product page, such as the Fidji, the Bahamas, the Florida or the Romance. Plan for a well-ventilated room, a waterproof floor that can carry the filled hot tub and a water outlet, and have the room approved by a building professional. Our terms of sale do, however, state that our hot tubs are designed for outdoor use: if installed indoors, we cannot be held responsible for damage to the home or premises (water damage, leaks, short circuits…).

How long does it take to heat the water in a hot tub?

With a 3,000 W heater, fitted to most of our hot tubs, the water theoretically gains about 2.5 °C per hour for 1,000 litres, twice as fast for 500 litres. The first fill therefore takes a few hours for a small hot tub and a night or more for a large one; after that, the insulation and the cover maintain the temperature. See Hot tub electricity consumption.

How do I choose between two hot tubs of the same size?

Compare the seating layout (seats or loungers), the number of massage pumps, the cladding and the warranty of each model. For four-version models, the "Choose your version" table on the product page also compares the versions. An advisor can present both models to you by video call.

Can a hot tub stay outside in winter?

Yes. Most of our hot tubs have a frost protection mode, shown in the "Electricity and controls" section of their product page. Leave the hot tub running and the thermal cover closed: the water stays hot between soaks, and winter is even the season people enjoy it most. A spot sheltered from the wind also helps. See Hot tub maintenance.

2 and 3-seater hot tubs

Can a 2-seater hot tub go on a balcony?

Sometimes, but never without checking. Filled, even a compact hot tub like the Calypso (180 kg empty, 360 litres) weighs more than half a tonne on about 2.6 m², before anyone gets in. Have the permissible load approved by a building professional and, in a block of flats, obtain the necessary permission before ordering.

What is the difference between the Samana and the Rio?

They have the same footprint, 1.90 m × 1.35 m. The Samana offers two head-to-toe loungers; the Rio, one lounger and two seats, with more jets (up to 88 against 63) and a little more water (550 litres against 450). Both come in a Plug & Play version.

Does a small hot tub use less electricity?

In general, yes: most of our 2 and 3-seaters hold 360 to 680 litres, against around 1,000 litres for a 6-seater, and they have a smaller surface to insulate. Consumption does, however, depend mainly on insulation, the cover and the outside temperature. See Hot tub electricity consumption.

Can a 3-seater hot tub plug into a standard socket?

Yes in the Plug & Play version: that of the Rio, or of the Samana as a 2-seater, plugs into a standard electrical socket protected by a residual current device. The other models and versions need a dedicated circuit installed by an electrician. For the warranty, our terms of sale require the hot tub to be connected to your fuse board by a professional, with an invoice as proof: see Our warranties.

4 and 5-seater hot tubs

How much space does a 4-seater hot tub need?

Our 4-seaters measure from 1.95 m × 1.95 m (Bahia, Los Angeles) to 2.10 m × 1.85 m (Fidji); the rectangular Gloria and Artemis fit in about 2 m × 1.50 m. Add a walkway around the hot tub for the cover and access to the technical panel.

How much does a filled 5-seater hot tub weigh?

Add up the empty weight, the water volume (one litre weighs one kilo) and the bathers. For the Esperanza: 420 kg empty and 950 litres, almost 1.4 tonnes before anyone gets in. Hence the importance of a flat, solid base such as a concrete slab.

Bahia or Esperanza: which should I choose?

The Bahia (4 seats including 2 loungers, 1.95 m × 1.95 m, 900 litres) suits a couple or a family of four. The Esperanza adds a seat (5 seats including 2 loungers, 2 m × 2 m, 950 litres) and three XXL rotating jets. Both come in four versions, from Plug & Play to Alu-Turbo.

Can 4 and 5-seater hot tubs be installed indoors?

The Fidji, the Bahamas and the Florida are described as suitable for indoors and outdoors. Indoors, plan for effective ventilation, a waterproof floor and a water outlet, and check that it will fit through the doors before ordering. Have the room approved by a building professional: our terms of sale state that our hot tubs are designed for outdoor use, and we cannot be held responsible for damage from an indoor installation (water damage, leaks, short circuits…).

6-seater hot tubs

What is the difference between the Acapulco and the San Diego?

Both seat five people sitting and one lying. The Acapulco (2.08 m × 2.08 m) comes in four versions, from Plug & Play to Alu-Turbo, with up to 138 jets; the San Diego (2.10 m × 2.30 m) is offered in one version, with aluminium and composite cladding and 133 jets, 22 of them illuminated.

Is a 6-seater hot tub suitable for a holiday let?

For family use by your guests, yes. If the hot tub will be used almost every day by different guests, choose a model designed for that level of use, such as the RX Pro, and find out about the hygiene rules that apply to hot tubs made available to guests.

How much water does a 6-seater hot tub hold?

About 1,000 litres for our models: 980 litres for the Acapulco and the San Diego, 1,050 litres for the Phocea. That is the volume to heat on the first fill and to replace at each drain, every three to four months.

Hot tubs for 7 or more

Is a crane needed to deliver a large hot tub?

Not always, but it is common beyond 2.30 m long, or when access is through a narrow gate, a staircase or a tight corner. The official carrier you choose assesses the access and tells you in their offer whether a lift is needed.

What slab is needed for an 8-seater hot tub?

A flat concrete slab, sized by a professional for the total weight. The Santiago weighs 650 kg empty and holds 2,500 litres, more than 3 tonnes before anyone gets in; the Grande Baie, 820 kg empty and 5,500 litres, exceeds 6 tonnes.

Which hot tub for 10 people or more?

The Cancun seats 10 people in 3.90 m × 2.25 m and 7,000 litres; the Balipower seats 12 in 4.40 m × 2.25 m and 8,800 litres. These very large volumes need a study of the site: an advisor will support you.

What is the difference between a large hot tub and a commercial hot tub?

The capacity can be the same; it is the expected level of use that changes. A commercial hot tub such as the FX Pro has enhanced filtration (sand filter) and two heaters to get back up to temperature quickly between groups of bathers.

Budget hot tubs

Why are some hot tubs cheaper?

The price mainly follows the equipment: number of massage pumps and jets, lighting, cladding, insulation, warranty. A Plug & Play version keeps the shell of the original model with a single massage pump; a compact model has less water and simpler equipment. Compare product pages with equal equipment.

What warranty comes with budget hot tubs?

It depends on the model and is shown on each product page, in the "Warranty" section: compare it as carefully as the price. The conditions are detailed on the Our warranties page.

Are there large budget hot tubs?

Yes: the selection ranges from the 2-seater (Samana in its Plug & Play version) to the 7-seater (Esmeralda), including the Phocea, a 6-seater with two loungers.

Can I have a hot tub without any building work?

With a Plug & Play version, almost: it plugs into a standard electrical socket, with no dedicated circuit. You still need a flat, solid base that can carry the filled hot tub, and access for delivery. See Inflatable or rigid hot tub.

Swim spas

How much does a swim spa cost?

The price including VAT of the Ocean is shown on its product page: it applies to wood-effect PVC cladding, excluding delivery and options; the Alu-Teck clad version is priced on quotation. On top of that come the concrete slab, a dedicated electrical circuit (220 V single-phase or 380 V three-phase), the offer from the official carrier you choose and, if access requires it, a crane. Monthly payments are available to customers in France. See Hot tub prices.

Can you really swim in a swim spa?

Yes, on the spot: the six XXL turbo jets of the Ocean swim spa create an adjustable current that you swim against without moving forward. Beginner or regular swimmer, everyone sets the intensity. The pool is also used for aqua aerobics, water walking and relaxation.

How much space does a swim spa need?

The Ocean measures 3.76 m × 2.20 m and is 1.10 m high, about 8.3 m² of floor space. Add a walkway all around for the cover, maintenance and access to the technical panel, and enough access for delivery: the package measures 3.86 m × 2.38 m × 1.12 m.

Can a swim spa be used in winter?

Yes. The Ocean has two 3,000 W heaters and a frost protection mode; with a thermal cover closed between sessions, you can swim in it all year round.

What base does a swim spa need?

A flat concrete slab, designed by a professional for more than 7 tonnes: the Ocean weighs 850 kg empty and holds 6,400 litres of water. Also plan for a dedicated power supply, on 220 V single-phase or 380 V three-phase.

Commercial hot tubs

What rules apply to a hot tub in a holiday let or hotel?

A hot tub made available to guests is subject to hygiene rules and water quality monitoring. Check with the health authority responsible for your area before opening; we then help you size the filtration and water treatment.

Why a sand filter on a commercial hot tub?

The sand filter of the FX Pro captures more matter than a cartridge and is cleaned by backwashing. It is the right solution for heavy use.

Does a commercial hot tub run on 220 V?

The RX Pro and the FX Pro are designed for 380 V three-phase and can be adapted to 220 V single-phase. Your electrician checks the power available on your installation.

Do you offer a study for my business?

Yes. Tell us the type of business, the number of guests expected and the planned location: an advisor will suggest the right model and a detailed quote. Request a quote.

Saunas

Can a sauna be installed outside?

Our cabins, traditional and infrared alike, are indoor saunas: they are assembled in a dry, level room with adequate ventilation. Each model's product page specifies the space to plan for.

Can a sauna be installed in a flat?

Yes, in a dry, level room with adequate ventilation. A 1 to 2-person infrared cabin plugs into a 220 V socket and fits in a bedroom; a traditional sauna needs a power supply suited to its stove's output.

Are saunas delivered assembled?

Our infrared cabins are delivered as panels to assemble. For each model, your advisor will explain the assembly and connection to plan for.

How long does a sauna session last?

In a traditional sauna, people usually allow 10 to 15 minutes per round, followed by a rest; two or three rounds are common. In an infrared cabin, the gentler heat allows slightly longer sessions. Listen to your body and ask your doctor for advice if in doubt.

Infrared saunas

Does an infrared cabin use a lot of electricity?

Its power ranges from 1,666 to 2,800 W depending on the model, and it heats up in about a quarter of an hour. To estimate a session, multiply the power by the heating and session time: a 2 kW cabin used for an hour consumes at most 2 kWh.

Which infrared cabin for two people?

The Kyoto, the Milan, the Lagoon and the Oasis take one or two people. They differ in power (from 1,666 W to 1,966 W), control panel (AV1 or L3) and equipment: Japanese-inspired lines for the Kyoto, an oxygen bar for the Milan, backrest and ceiling lighting for the Lagoon.

Do I need an electrician for an infrared sauna?

Our cabins for up to 4 people plug into a 220 V socket, with no building work. For the Caïman (5 people) and the Havana (7 people), your advisor will tell you which connection to plan for.

Traditional saunas

What stove power does a sauna need?

It depends on the volume of the cabin: 3 kW for our 1 and 2-person cabins (Palawan, Seychelles), 4.5 kW for the 3-person Corsica and the Summit, 6 kW for the 4-person Santorin, the Olympus and the Valence. Each model is fitted with the Harvia stove suited to its volume.

Does a traditional sauna need a special socket?

Yes: the stove needs a power supply suited to its output, installed by an electrician. Your advisor will tell you how each model is connected before you order.

Why choose a corner sauna?

Its shape fits into a corner of the room and frees up more seating for the same floor area. We offer three: the Summit (4.5 kW stove), the Olympus (6 kW) and the Valence, our premium model, delivered with its accessory kit.
