With an empty weight of 250 kg and a capacity of 680 litres of water, the Romance hot tub weighs about 930 kg once filled, not counting bathers.
To enjoy your hot tub fully and safely, choose a flat, stable and strong enough surface, ideally a suitable concrete slab.
Would you like to install it on a timber or composite deck, or on a raised structure? That is entirely possible, provided a professional checks its load capacity beforehand.

- Delivery access
Dimensions of the hot tub packed on its pallet: 230 × 165 × 95 cm.
Your hot tub is packed and transported on its side to make handling easier.
Before ordering, check the size of every opening on the way (gate, path, door…) to its final position.

- First heat-up
Fitted with a 3,000 W heater, our Intense and Alu-Teck hot tubs heat up by about 2 °C per hour, and up to 4 °C per hour on the most compact models, depending on the volume of water and the outdoor conditions.
Our tip: always keep the insulated cover closed while heating, to limit heat loss and help your hot tub warm up faster.
- Electricity – how to prepare your hot tub's connection
Our hot tubs are delivered set up for 400 V three-phase, but can also run on 230 V single-phase once a qualified professional has fitted an electrical bridge.
For a single-phase installation, you will need:
- A 3G6 mm² electrical cable.
- A dedicated line with a 32 A circuit breaker and a 30 mA residual current device, depending on the model's specifications.
- A direct connection of the cable into your hot tub's control unit, with no plug in between.
Important: the cable from your electrical panel to your hot tub must be run and connected by a qualified electrician, who will check the cable size and the protections required.
Do you have three-phase power? Your hot tub can keep its original setup, with a suitable connection.

Make the most of your hot tub with quick, simple maintenance!
To keep your water clean and your filtration at its best, rinse your TropicSpa-approved filter once a week and replace it every 3 months. Handy: it is changed without any tools!

Romance hot tub at a glance
The Romance was designed for lovers of well-being and of relaxing moments to share. Its two enveloping loungers, facing the same way, offer the pleasure of a full hydromassage, comfortably side by side. With its 83 jets, its elegant water column and its extra seat, it combines massage power, comfort and conviviality. More space than a compact 3-seater
At 2.10 m by 1.60 m and 680 litres, the Romance is roomier than our compact 3-seaters: the loungers, fitted with ergonomic headrests, leave room for your legs, and the seat lets you welcome a guest.
Massage and atmosphere
A 2,200 W pump feeds the water jets and a 700 W air pump the 20 air jets, making 83 jets in total. The water column brings the pool to life, and 19 chromotherapy LEDs, with a light, colour it in the evening. Two speakers complete the equipment.
Indoors and outdoors
The Romance is designed for indoor or outdoor installation. An insulated base, anti-corrosion treatment and frost protection mode prepare it for outdoor use. Indoors, plan for a ventilated room and a floor that can carry its filled weight, about 930 kg before anyone gets in (250 kg empty and 680 litres). It runs on 220 V single-phase, on a dedicated circuit installed by an electrician: your advisor will tell you which connection to plan for.
Maintenance
Skimmer, 250 W filtration pump and screw-in cartridge filters, accessible without tools: everything you need to keep the water clear with little effort.
Romance or Calypso?
The Calypso has the same layout, two loungers and one seat, in a more compact and lighter format. The Romance adds space, the water column and chromotherapy. Compare them in our 2 and 3-seater hot tubs.
